Expo Theatre: Embracing inclusion to generate impact: lessons from those who do it

This will be a combination of two great talks: First Talk: Applied agile digital transformation principles: what can financial inclusion within at-risk communities teach? Kubair Shirazee, Agile Coach at AgiliTea, will share how he and his team have alleviated 5000 individuals out of poverty, created social mobility, nurtured financial inclusion and transformed the mindset of radicalised individuals and communities – all through the familiar principles of an agile digital transformation. Join Kubair’s session to hear how to apply the same principles to commercial organisations to tackle marginalised audiences and drive benefits to the business. Second Talk: Saving lives with data: child brain tumour rehabilitation in an adult world Dr Amos Burke is a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist and clinical lead for Brainbow, the UK’s first rehabilitation service for children with brain tumours based at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Addenbrooke’s Hospital. In his talk, Dr Burke will share with us the work that is going on at Brainbow and how data and computational power are saving lives. Learn how to think about technology in an inclusive way, and how to apply this approach to opportunities that may not have been considered before.
